Janine Hickl is a versatile artist from Vienna, working internationally as an actress, singer, voice-over artist, and swing dancer. After completing her musical theater studies, she trained in acting in both London and Vienna and has since appeared in numerous film, television, and theater productions. Her performances have earned her multiple awards.

Her passion lies in musical theatre. With a deep love for swing and chanson, she creates original stage productions that celebrate extraordinary women of the 20th century. Her monodrama, Nothing in Between - The Simple, Complicated Life of Hedy Lamarr, has been performed in New York, London, and Egypt, bringing the story of the Hollywood icon and inventor to life.

With DIVAS – Les Grandes Dames de la Chanson, she and the Relic Music team transport audiences into the world of French and German chanson, reviving the voices of legendary female artists.

As the lead singer of the Andrews Sisters trio The Reveilles and the swing bands Zazous, Rustique Musique, and The D is Silent, she brings the infectious energy of the swing era to international stages.

Beyond her work as an actress and singer, Janine is also an accomplished voice-over artist, lending her voice to international projects. A passionate dancer and instructor, she shares her expertise in Lindy Hop, specializing in L.A. style and inspiring students with the joy of swing.
